Cookie Policy
This policy describes cookies and similar technologies (browser local storage) on the websites www.getcortex.cz and getcortex.online and in the CORTEX app (/app). We use only necessary cookies, plus Google Analytics cookies on the website, and those only with your consent. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies (no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads).
1. What Cookies and Local Storage Are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser and that the browser sends back to the server. Local storage (localStorage) keeps settings directly in the browser; it is not sent to the server.
2. Necessary Cookies of the App
They are set only in the app when you sign in, and signing in does not work without them. They are sent only over secure connections (Secure) and only within our site (SameSite=Lax), and sign-in tokens are not accessible to scripts (HttpOnly). They do not require consent.

If you enable push notifications in the app, the browser registers a service worker that displays them.
4. Analytics Cookies (Consent Only)
On the website (not in the app) we measure traffic with Google Analytics 4 provided by Google Ireland Limited. Analytics cookies are stored only after you allow them in the cookie bar. We use Google Consent Mode v2: without consent no analytics cookies are stored and Google receives only anonymous signals without identifiers; storage for advertising is always disabled.

The Focus music module in the app plays videos through youtube-nocookie.com. Google may store data in your browser only once you start the music.
5. How to Change or Withdraw Consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the button below. After withdrawal we stop using analytics cookies and delete the Google Analytics cookies stored for this website. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; without the necessary cookies, however, you cannot sign in to the app.
